In a bizarre twist of events, the move from heckofaguy.com/blog (which was actually heckofaguy.alignmap.com/blog) to 1heckofaguy.com has been, thus far, virtually atraumatic.
Of course, the reason it has been atraumatic for me is that the trauma was either prevented or absorbed by the guy who did the heavy lifting.
Shane, 
AKA Phrixus is a designer, developer, photographer, sailor, and Second Lifer who has been incredibly competent and outrageously gracious in solving my problems, answering my questions, and responding to my ever-fluctuating, ever-expanding request lists.
Shane surely qualifies as a Heck Of A Guy or whatever the U.K. equivalent of a Heck Of A Guy might be– is there such a thing as a Heck Of A Bloke?
That’s not, by the way, Shane in the picture to your right. No, that would be the original Phrixus, who, along with his twin Helle, was the target of a devious, convoluted plot by his stepmother, Ino. Suffice it to say that they had to be rescued by a flying golden ram. Later, in gratitude to King Aeëtes for giving him his daughter in marriage, Phrixus gave the king the golden fleece of the ram, which Jason (of Jason & the Argonauts fame) later ripped off.1

I dont see that there is anything wrong with ‘Heck of a guy’ here! ‘Heck of a bloke’ just doesn’t have the same ring to it!!
