		<description>My Old Kentucky Blog has collected many covers of this beautiful song. It's not the most covered of Leonard Cohen songs - others such as Suzanne being way ahead. Still, it's becoming the best known of his songs to a new generation. And, with its inclusion in Shrek, an ever younger audience!

I recommend the version by Allison Crowe (of whom I love many recordings):
