Three Boats Near Kennebunkport, Maine

The Lord of Leisure writes:
[Hippie With Tiara] spotted these three boats near Kennebunkport, Maine as we passed over a small bridge and insisted I return to photograph them. And, I’m grateful she did. The simple composition of the clustered boats with those colors reflected in the water makes this a favorite from our trip.

I know exactly where those boats are. And in fact, I always see tourists photographing them. What is their allure? Why are they there? It is a mystery, and I would put it in my top ten list of most photographed things in the Kennebunks.
