A Sunday Visit To The Heck of a House Zoological Gardens

New Arrivals
Here in the Heck of a House back yard, the deer (AKA forest cows) come and the deer go,1 as do the raccoons, coyotes, and all manner of aviary specimens, including the occasional golden pheasant.
Just prior to vacation, my work was interrupted by two less common creatures, both of which I managed (barely) to capture on tape. This edited version of the video is less than one minute long and is self-explanatory but does require the viewer to attend carefully the entire length of the tape; apparently, I was going for and was notably successful in achieving the Blair Witch Project effect. (Viewers who believe they can do better are invited to try.)
After The Video
One might wonder, as I did, why a wild turkey (of the non-alcoholic sort) would hang around despite being chased through the woods by an idiot with a video camera. After I had taken these shots and was processing them, I looked up from my computer to see the same bird strolling through the middle of the lawn - twice. The third time, she appeared to be dragging something. A closer look, with my camera unavailable, of course, revealed that she was being followed by a half-dozen poults.2
