The comments on this seemingly innocuous post have somehow transformed into the all too familiar exchange of immovable opinions on Leonard Cohen’s status as an artist. Suspecting that some readers may lack the time or psychological fortitude to read the entire sequence, Heck of a Guy offers an textually inexact but nonetheless recognizable evocation of this phenomenon:
