You and Your Shadow
The phenomenal shadow puppets demonstrated in the video in yesterday’s post, The Shadow Knows, led to the thought that Heck of a Guy readers might be interested in shadow figures they could perform for the amusement of themselves and others.1
And, in fact, the internet has many sites with tutorials on producing standbys such as this elephant.

While perfectly nice, this sort of shadow puppet didn’t seem quite right for a Heck of a Guy blogophilic. Consequently, I have constructed four shadow figures especially pertinent to this blog, all of which use the same basic configuration of the hands with only subtle variations accounting for the shifts in the result. I hope you enjoy these and perhaps go on to create your own creations.

Footnotes
- It is, of course, well known that all women are susceptible to the charms of shadow puppets and can rarely prevent themselves from fondling men who know the secret of producing lifelike figures using only their hands and a focused light. Consider yourselves warned.↩
