Good Clean Wholesome Fun Features Videos Of Leonard Cohen Live In Toronto, Rates Reviews Uninspired Albeit Positive
A plethora of videos of songs from the Leonard Cohen Toronto concerts and annotated links examining the reviews of those performances now reside at GoodCleanWholesome Fun thanks to my anonymous stand-in.
My quick survey of the site this morning shows a menu that includes videos of
- Heart With No Companion (Live in Toronto)
- That Don’t Make It Junk (Live in Toronto)
- Suzanne (Live in Toronto)
- Anthem (Live in Toronto)
- Everybody Knows (Live in Toronto)
- Ain’t No Cure For Love (Live in Toronto)
- Closing Time (Live in Toronto)
- Closing Time (St Johns)
Read interesting comments about dull (but very positive) reviews of the concerts, including
- The Toronto Sun’s cliche-fest
- The bland review from CTV
- The even blander review from The Canadian Press
- The just-another-apotheosis from The Star
On the other hand, The Australian has a nice piece about the relationship between Leonard Cohen and his fans trying to get to one of the concerts.
And finally, something negative about Leonard Cohen’s 2008 Tour

I extend my thanks again for this assistance from my anonymous benefactor. (Hmmm - “Anonymous Benefactor” strikes me has showing blogonymic potential. Stay tuned.)

I’m going to enjoy the concert in Amsterdam (July 12).
Yesterday I’ve been to Warsaw where Bob Dylan played. It’s a very great artist for me, but these clips You’ve attached gave me much more emotions that the concert I’ve mentioned.
Thank you!
