Closing Of HeckOfAHouse Sale Finally Completed - Apocalypse To Follow Later In Week
Readers may recall Best House Showing So Far, a post published almost four months ago extolling the virtues of the then-potential buyers who not only were personable, appreciative of the design and features of our home, laughed at my jokes, and attested to being interested in buying the place but also came bearing Harrods Peppermint Discs as a gift.
As it turns out, those folks did indeed decide, shortly after that showing, to buy the place. Price and terms were also quickly negotiated. And, the closing was set for early June.
That was the first tentative closing date that had to be rescheduled. Many others were to follow until today when, after an extraordinary series of delays, the closing - well, closed.
For now, we’ll celebrate with huzzahs all around. Details will follow at a later date.
