While a handful of videos of the Leonard Cohen performance at Madison Square Garden, which concluded only a few hours ago, have been uploaded to YouTube, this recording of “First We Take Manhattan,” shot from the periphery of that venue, is the only one thus far that offers more a brief clip of a song. And, even this video is incomplete, beginning some time after Cohen and crew have begun the song. Given the number of short excerpts already available, however, it seems likely that many other NYC videographers will soon have their offerings online.
