I’m posting this video featuring Dino Soldo, Leonard Cohen’s designated Master Of Breath, because … well, because a number of Heck Of A Guy readers are – oh, let’s call them “enthusiastic” Dino Soldo fans, so this is a case of what’s good for Dino is good for DrHGuy.

The video appears to have been shot in Chicago. The left side of Dino’s window in the screenshot above looks out on Marina City. Earlier scenes from the video also depict familiar Chicago buildings.

    Sheesh, I played Clarinet for 6 years, and never came close! It was always billed as a girls instrument, but a Clarinet has such a range! I believe that men have an advantage in terms of lung power. To my mind, it is the moveable clown, where the Bassoon isn’t so much. Silly me, I should dig the old girl out again, and see what she has to say now…
