Shh – Don’t Tell Leonard

September 21, 2011 is Leonard Cohen’s 77th birthday, an event Heck Of A Guy is commemorating with a video of scenes from Leonard Cohen’s life and photos of fans expressing their affection for Mr. Cohen, all set to “I Love Leonard Cohen” by Robin Grey.1

Heck Of A Guy is offering an early look at the celebratory extravaganza to viewers who agree not to inform Mr. Cohen that the video is now available. After all,  now that celebrating Leonard Cohen’s birthday with a music video of favorite images associated with the Canadian singer-songwriter has become a Heck Of A Guy tradition,2 it is all but certain that Leonard has been eagerly anticipating this year’s production – and we don’t want to spoil the fun for him, do we?

    Two shots of Arlene and one of our Gwen! And I think the beautiful sunset was of the concert at the Hunter Valley that I was at. Will he see this,hope so ,he needs to know how much he means to us.

    This is wonderful. I only discovered you this year so hadn’t seen the other videos, but I have now looked back on them and I think this is by far the best. You’ve made me buy Robin’s album! Thank you for that and for everything else. And yes, I love Leonard Cohen.
