2012 Leonard Cohen Old Ideas World Tour Changes

As is true for most music tours, concert dates and venues may be added, changed, or eliminated on short notice. The most recent changes to the 2012 Leonard Cohen Old Ideas World Tour and the sources for this information are listed below.

Istanbul & Bucharest Added To Tour

According to LeonardCohen.com:

  • 19 Sept 2012 Istanbul, Turkey (Ulker Arena)
  • 22 Sept 2012 Bucharest, Romania (Piata Constitutional)

Update 12:12 PM, March 31, 2012:  Both the Istanbul and Bucharest dates have now been removed without explanation from the Tour schedule posted at LeonardCohen.com.

New Dates Added To Ghent

According to a post at LeonardCohenForum by Jarkko:

Because of heavy sales, August 15 and 17 concerts have been added to the August 12 and 14 dates already announced. Tickets for all shows at Sherpa.

Possible UK Show

Post at LeonardCohenForum by Jarkko:

There is one tentative date reserved for an open air concert in the UK, but we don’t know whether or not it will be confirmed.

Jarkko goes on to point out:

If you want to be sure to see one of Leonard’s concerts this year, it might be best to look for the concerts in other countries. Again, I have to underline that I don’t have complete and final tour plans!!

  1. See You on the 6th of September! Can’t believe it!

  2. All the best to You all!

  3. Mr Showalter,

No Istanbul show listed on leonardcohen.com? Having a series of minor heart attacks here–could you possibly give more information?

    • The Istanbul and Bucharest dates were listed at LeonardCohen.com when the post was published. Both have since disappeared without explanation.
