Today’s Daily Edge reports the following:
LEONARD COHEN HAS added a third show to his Autumn tour stop in Dublin. The Hallelujah singer has confirmed a third concert on 14 September, in addition to two previously announced gigs on 11 and 12 September.
Entertainment.ie carries this story:
Leonard Cohen adds third Dublin date due to demand
The masses of Leonard Cohen fans who missed out on tickets to the legendary musician’s Irish gigs will be happy to learn that a third date has been added to Cohen’s Irish series. Cohen has announced that he will play a final date in the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham on 14th September. Cohen was originally to play two gigs on 11th and 12th of September but many fans were left disappointed when the tickets sold out within hours.
Cohen will perform a selection of his best loved material from the course of his career, as well as new material from his twelfth studio album, the recently released Old Ideas.
Tickets for the extra date go on sale at 9am on Thursday 19th April.
At time of posting, the third Dublin concert has not yet appeared on the official schedule at LeonardCohen.com or LeonardCohenForum. From a personal communication, however, I’m told Ticketmaster is showing the September 14th show.
