Stalking The Unexpectedly Rare Kissing Cohen Photo

Given that Leonard Cohen has, by all accounts, been and continues to be quite proficient in wooing women and that the concept of a female Cohen fan who is not eager to buss the Ladies’ Man triggers cataclysmic levels of cognitive dissonance, one would think that putting together Kissing Cohen, a collection of photos of Leonard Cohen bestowing and receiving kisses would be easily accomplished.

One would, however, be wrong.

There are relative few photos that meet criteria for this category, despite the rather generous inclusions: The Kissing Cohen classification covers all kissing modes, however lusty or chaste. Formal kisses (e.g., kisses exchanged with governmental officials), amorous kisses, polite kisses, Hollywood air kisses, salutatory cheek pecks, baby busing, … all count. Sans lip action, however, embraces, hugging, fondling, and such do not meet criteria. Kisses qualify if Mr Cohen is a mutual participant in the activity, exclusively on the receiving side of the transaction, or the bestower of a kiss on a non-reciprocating individual.
