And does the shape it’s taking look anything like
a map of the Eastern Hemisphere?
Where In The World Is Leonard Cohen (Touring In 2013)?
I’ve now been told by three independent sources, all of whom have provided accurate information about previous Cohen tours (and all of whom conferred with me only after being given assurance they would remain anonymous), that venues in South Africa, Singapore, and China are being seriously considered1 for inclusion in the 2013 Leonard Cohen Tour. Venues in other Asian countries may also be added.
The Tour will also, according to these folks, return to Australia and Europe in 2013.
For what it’s worth, I personally believe what these three sources have said, i.e., that these venues have been considered for the 2013 Tour.
On the other hand, none of these three sources was, as far as I can determine, Leonard Cohen, Robert Kory, or Rob Hallett.
_____________________- “Seriously considered,” in this instance, translates into favorable discussions have been held within the group responsible for Cohen’s tours and negotiations have taken place with local promoters and venue management. [↩]

i hope l.c. won’t honor china with his presence
Does that mean more shows in the US too? Sadly there is no close show on the current itinerary.
I feel your pain. We’re flying 1000+ miles to attend a show. Unfortunately, I’m no help in the tour rumor dept – I can only report the info I hear and I’ve heard nothing so far about a 2013 US tour.
“Come on down!” The southern hemisphere awaits.
I wish he’d come back to the U.K. in 2013 – or Dublin.
I went to see in concert the great poet and singer the almighty and only mr. Leonard Cohen in his first day concert in Dublin this year(12) i would like to know if he is planning anymore concerts in Dublin in the coming year 2013, god willing i will be there again to see him if he honours us with his visit. does anyone know if he has plans to do so. I love the great maestro ,he fantastic !
Caveat: Nobody tells me nothin’ – officially. That noted, rumor has it that the 2013 Tour will include, along with more exotic venues, a return to Europe. If so, it’s hard to imagine Leonard Cohen touring Europe without performing in Dublin. But, again, that’s just my speculation.
