I Can’t Forget – The Leonard Cohen Timeline is the work of Sally Hunter, Ruth Stimson, and Roman Gavrilin, with a modicum of assistance from DrHGuy. Note: The timeline can also be viewed at I Can’t Forget: The Leonard Cohen Timeline from 1HeckOfAGuy.com on Dipity.
Each of the events is marked by a graphic (e.g., each album release date bears the image of the album cover); most also include either a video or audio recording. Each Album Release event includes an audio recording of one of the songs on that album. Concerts and Tour Start Dates typically feature a pertinent video performance.
The recording, whether audio or video is found by clicking on the image and then on “Video”1 at the top left of the frame, just above the graphic.
Note: This is one of those few instances in which DrHGuy counsels patience. The recordings may require some time to appear after one clicks on “Video.”
The timeline can also be viewed as a flipbook (as seen below), an alphabetized list, or a map by clicking on the appropriate link at the upper left of the display.
Otherwise, the use of the timeline is intuitive.
The dates of the events have been checked and rechecked, but in any human endeavor mistakes are possible if not inevitable. Consequently, viewers who spot errors or who wish to suggest events not currently listed on the timeline are urged to email DrHGuy at eh address given in the “Contact DrHGuy” tab near the top of each 1HeckOfAGuy page.
- Yes, it’s a tad confusing that one clicks on “video” to find an audio-only recording. Complain to the folks running the web site hosting the timeline. [↩]

Ladies & Gents, don’t believe him!
Doctor is too modest to recognize that he’s the author of the idea, and the headman.
=))
Well pointed out Roman – the good doctor is too modest.
