Animal Walk-bys On Back Lawn
Although this is the first time I’ve seen this fawn, the evident familiarity with my back lawn leads me to suspect that this is not the first time this fawn has stopped here for a snack.

I didn’t see our resident wild turkey until she was almost into the woods perhaps 30 yards from my office where I was working. I only had time to grab my camera and snap a quick shot before she darted behind the oak.

The opossum that lives in the rocks beneath the fountain apparently checked out the area just outside my office door last night.
Our back lawn is a high density traffic area. None of these tracks were made by biped mammals - unless the deer are showing off.
This one was adding to the tracks this morning.
