The content of these postings is a function of my self-assessment that I can be, on a good day, pretty darn droll (in a sardonic, parenthetical, self-referential, elliptic, … sort of way). As evidence for this evaluation, I will note that my friends frequently make comments about my writing along the lines of “that was kinda funny, I guess,” two women, one of whom married me, have declared that I “must be hilarious to live with,” and reading my stuff has caused at least one documented potable-from-nose-to-keyboard event.
I would not claim that HeckOfAGuy is the funniest blog on the Net. Nor would I claim that (AlignMap), my blog-web site that focuses on treatment noncompliance by patients, is the most scholarly or erudite entry in that field.
